Frontend developer

Position Title: Frontend Developer
 
Job description: Frontend programmer / developer ninja who can take fantastic design and deliver into swift functional pages. Strong JavaScript, HTML, JSON, AJAX and CSS knowledge required. Fitting into an existing team of developers.

Responsibilities:
- Slicing designs and convert them into code;
- Develop quality front-end code following industry standards and best practices 
- Design and develop web presentation code;
- Ensure that features are supported across a variety of web browsers and platforms;
- Update and maintain documentation;
- Participate in application deployment and maintenance releases; 
- Communicate status and identify issues affecting ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, must be swift like a ninja;
- Maintain technical knowledge of industry standards, best practices and trends; 
- Contribute to team effort and taking on milestone responsibility.

Technical knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, JSON;
- Experience working with popular frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap;
- Experience working with CSS, (SASS and LESS are a plus);
- Understanding of OO concepts in JavaScript context;
- Understanding of DOM, DOM Event Models;
- Understanding of XSLT, DHTML;
- Experience working with XML, XSLT;
- Knowledge of Scala and Java is a plus;
- Commercial experience in project lifecycle, unit testing and code review.

Qualifications and training required
- 2 or more commercial years experience.
- Degrees are a plus.
