Senior Project Manager

MBU Ltd. for IT engineering and inter-banking services designed, developed and released MBNET which enables bank cards issuing and their acquiring at ATMs, EFTPOS terminals, via telephone and on Internet, all in order to provide contemporary banking services. Senior Project Manager, member of Project Management Department, manages all aspects of a project during its lifecycle. This includes liaising with all areas of the business and the client directly, to facilitate the delivery of their requirements to scope, cost and schedule. This is a key role for the project office and company as a whole and relies heavily on organizational and negotiation skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver Project Management for projects assigned

• Ensure the quality of individual projects and programs

• Ensure the sponsors and clients are fully aware of the risks, interdependencies, constraints and deviations from baselines

• Ensure project documentation is complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately

• Supervision of project streams as well as overall project team's work coordination and monitoring

• Regular contact with project stakeholders to ascertain project requirements and/or level of satisfaction with progress and performance

• Contact with the projects service providers/vendors to ensure timely activity

• Integration and efficient use of resources to meet requirements

• Travelling and attending project meetings with customers

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

• University graduate, majoring in IT, organization, economy or similar

• Five years structured project management experience, some of which must have been within a client facing role

• Experience of simultaneously and effectively managing multiple complex projects through to successful delivery, including managing risks, project budgets & schedules

• Experience of managing large international teams

• Experience of managing projects with full software development life cycle and systems operations experience

• Experience of managing integration and migration projects

• General understanding of application programming, database and system design

• Promote/embed best practice Project Management in the organizational environment

• Strong relationship builder - skilled in negotiation, facilitation and influence, and with a collaborative mindset and attitude

• Independent and responsive to input, diplomacy and persuasion, ability to find common ground and resolution

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and people management skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Project, Open Workbench, CA Clarity PPM or similar project management tools

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications

• Ability to work on own initiative and at the same time as part of a team

• Professional in attitude and appearance

• Committed to the principles of MBU and their customers

• Fluency in English language

• Willingness to travel

• Driver's license (category B)

Desirable Qualities and Experience for earning extra points:

• Experience in banking or card payment schemes

• Project Management certificate (e.g. PMP)

• Program Management experience

• Postgraduate degree

• ITIL certificate
